This Privacy Policy describes how The Demo Atelier ("we", "us", or "our"), operated by Matt Finch, an individual doing business as The Demo Atelier in California, USA, collects, uses, and protects information when you use our application at demoatelier.com (the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, password (stored in encrypted form), and authentication information if you sign up via Google OAuth.
Profile Information
Information you voluntarily provide including your job role, product category and description, buyer persona details, and your stated demo challenges. This is used solely to personalise your coaching experience.
App Usage Data
Content you create within the Service including Demo Prep content, roleplay conversation transcripts, Post-Demo Check-in entries, AI coaching results, and progress data.
Important: We instruct users not to enter personally identifiable information about third parties into the Service. If you choose to do so, you are solely responsible for that content.
Technical Data
Automatically collected information including IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, session duration, and error logs.
Payment Information
Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use information we collect to:

3. AI PROCESSING AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Service uses artificial intelligence to power coaching features. Your inputs are sent to third-party AI providers for processing.
Current AI Providers
The Service uses Base44 infrastructure which may utilise models including Claude (Anthropic) and Gemini (Google).
We strongly recommend you do not include personally identifiable information, confidential business information, or sensitive third-party data in any AI-powered feature.
4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
Your data is stored on servers provided by Base44 and its infrastructure partners in the United States.
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information including encrypted passwords, HTTPS encryption, and access controls.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your information within 30 days except where required by law.

We process your data on the legal bases of contract, legitimate interests, and consent where applicable.
Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States with appropriate safeguards in place.
